This Privacy Policy explains how Pairfon (“Pairfon”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects and uses information when you use the Pairfon mobile app and related services (the “Service”).

By using Pairfon, you agree to this Privacy Policy.


1. What Pairfon does

Pairfon is an SMS app that:

  • Lets you send and receive SMS/MMS on your Android phone
  • Can connect with your CRM (for example, GoHighLevel) so you can see and reply to your own messages from there

Pairfon uses your own SIM and phone number.


2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

We may collect:

  • Email, username or phone number
  • Password (stored as a hash, not plain text)

Used to create and manage your account and log you in.

2.2 SMS/MMS information

We may process:

  • Message content
  • Phone numbers of sender and recipient
  • Time and status of messages

Used to show your inbox, send/receive messages, and sync your conversations with your CRM if you connect one.

2.3 Contacts (optional)

If you allow contact access, we may read:

  • Names and phone numbers from your device contacts

Used only to show names instead of numbers and to help you choose recipients.

2.4 Device and technical data

We may collect:

  • Device ID or app-generated identifier
  • App version and basic diagnostic data
  • Service status (for example, whether sync is running)

Used to keep the app working, secure, and reliable.


3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Run the app and provide SMS/MMS features
  • Let you log in and connect your device with your account
  • Sync your conversations with your chosen CRM
  • Maintain security, fix bugs, and improve performance

We do not sell your data.


4. How we share information

We may share your data only in these cases:

  • Service providers: hosting, infrastructure, and messaging services that help us run Pairfon
  • Your CRM: if you connect Pairfon to a CRM, your messages are sent to that system under its own terms
  • Legal reasons: if required by law or to protect our rights or other users

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.


5. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements.

  • Messages on your device stay in your phone’s SMS storage until you delete them or change SMS apps
  • Account and sync data are kept while your account is active
  • If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we must keep some records for legal or security reasons

6. Your choices

You can:

  • Change app permissions (SMS, Contacts, etc.) in your device settings
  • Log out of your account
  • Uninstall the app

7. Children

Pairfon is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children in this age group.


8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” and may notify you in the app.
